NOTICE Notice of Filing of Adoption Petition in the Circuit Court of Mercer County, West Virginia To: Michael Farmer, father OF KGS, a minor born on July 14, 2013, in Mercer County, West Virginia. YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that, pursuant to the provisions of W.Va. Code ?48-22-101, et seq., a petition for adoption of your child, KGS, has been filed in the Circuit Court of Mercer County, West Virginia, Case no. 16-A-35-DS. You are advised that your parental rights to this child may be terminated in the adoption proceeding. If you wish to assert or exercise your parental rights to said child, you must appear and defend the petition on or before October 17, 2016, or within thirty (30) days following the first publication of this notice, whichever date is later. Your failure to appear and defend will result in the permanent termination of your parental rights, and you may not appear or receive further notice of the adoption. A final adoption hearing will be held on October 17, 2016, at 1:45 p.m., before the Honorable Derek Swope, Circuit Judge, at the Mercer County Courthouse, Princeton, West Virginia, 24740.
