NOTICE TO ARCHITECTS/ ENGINEERS
Pursuant to West Virginia Code §5G-1-3, Statement of Qualifications and Performance Data, Monongalia County, West Virginia is seeking expressions of interest from Architectural / Engineering firms for professional architectural and engineering services for the complete renovation and building systems evaluation of the Morgantown Enterprise Center office building, owned by the Monongalia County Development Authority, and located at 955 Hartman Run Road, Morgantown WV.
Professional engineering and architectural services will include the following items: building systems evaluation, preparation of renovation design plans, preparation of bidding and contract documents, participation in the solicitation and evaluation of bids, contract administration, and construction inspection.
Interested firms are invited to submit their Statement of Qualifications, including performance data and any other pertinent information desired, to the Monongalia County Development Authority, Attn: Holly Childs, Director, 955 Hartman Run Road, Suite 200, Morgantown, WV 26505, on or before Monday, March 16, 2015 at 4:00 p.m.
Statements of Qualifications must detail each firm’s technical expertise, demonstrate experience with similar projects, and at a minimum include at least three references for projects completed within the past two years. Descriptions of relevant projects completed within the last 10 years must also be included, along with resumes of key project personnel. Six (6) copies are to be provided.
A selection team will evaluate the Statements of Qualifications and will conduct interviews with at least three of the professional firms submitting these qualifications deemed to be the most highly qualified to provide the services required. Following interviews, firms will be ranked in order of preference with the highest ranked firm entering into contract negotiations with the Monongalia County Development Authority.
The Monongalia County Development Authority reserves the right to reject any and all statements from interested firms and to make the award in any manner deemed by it, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of Monongalia County and in accordance with WV Code §5G-1-3.
