CHARLES EDWARD LAWRENCE CRIMINAL NO. 1:14-00069 NOTICE OF FORFEITURE AND ANCILLARY PROCEEDINGS Notice is hereby given that on September 3, 2014, in the above-referenced case, the United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia entered an Order, pursuant to 18 U.S.C. ? 2253 (a), forfeiting to the United States of America the interest of the defendant, Charles Edward Lawrence, in and to one SanDisk USB flash drive, 16 GB capacity, black and red in color. The United States hereby gives notice of its intention to dispose of the forfeited flash drive in such manner as the United States Attorney General or his authorized designee may direct. Any person having or claiming a legal right, title or interest in any of the forfeited flash drive must file a petition, pursuant to 18 U.S.C. ? 2253 (b) and 21 U.S.C. ? 853 (n), within thirty (30) days of actual receipt of notice or within thirty (30) days from the final publication of this notice, whichever is earlier. The petition must be filed in the United States District Clerk’s Office, Southern District of West Virginia, 601 Federal Street, Room 2303, Bluefield, West Virginia 24701, with a copy thereof mailed to Lisa G. Johnston, Assistant United States Attorney, P.O. Box 1713, Charleston, West Virginia, 25326. The petition shall be signed by the petitioner under penalty of perjury and shall set forth the nature and extent of the petitioner’s right, title or interest in the forfeited equipment, the time and circumstances of the petitioner’s acquisition of the right, title and interest in the forfeited equipment, and any additional facts supporting the petitioner’s claim and the relief sought.
