NOTICE OF BANK MERGER APPLICATIONS
Notice is hereby given that the following applications have been made to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (ãOCCã) on August 14, 2017:
- An application for approval to merge Doolin Security Savings Bank, FSB (ãDoolinã), a Federal mutual savings bank with its principal office at 600 North State Route 2, New Martinsville, West Virginia 26155, with and into First Mutual Bank, a to-be-formed Federal stock savings bank with its principal office to be located at 605 Washington Boulevard, Belpre, Ohio 45714, with First Mutual Bank as the resulting institution. First Mutual Bank will be formed by, and will be the wholly owned subsidiary of, First Mutual Holding Company, Lakewood, Ohio; and
- An application for approval to merge Belpre Savings Bank, an Ohio stock savings bank with its principal office at 605 Washington Boulevard, Belpre, Ohio 45714 with and into First Mutual Bank with First Mutual Bank as the resulting institution.
This notice is published pursuant to 12 U.S.C. Œ 1828(c) of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act and 12 C.F.R. Œ 5.33 of the OCC’s regulations.
Anyone may submit written comments in connection with these applications within 30 calendar days of the initial publication of this notice. The last day to submit comments is September 13, 2017. The comments must be sent simultaneously to the Director of District Licensing, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, Central District, One Financial Place, Suite 2700, 440 South LaSalle Street, Chicago, Illinois 60605, and to the attention of Robert J. Doyle, President of Doolin Security Savings Bank, FSB, to its address stated above. Written comments in opposition to the applications should address the regulatory basis for denial of such application, and be supported by the information specified in 12 C.F.R. Œ 5.10. You may request a meeting on such applications by filing a written request for a meeting with your comment to the OCC. Your request should describe the nature of the issues or facts to be discussed and the reasons why written submissions are insufficient to adequately address these facts or issues. OCC will grant a meeting request only when it finds that written submissions are insufficient to address the facts or issues raised, or otherwise determines that a meeting will benefit its decision making process.
You may view the non-confidential portions of the applications and non-confidential portions of all comments filed with the OCC by contacting the Central District Office of the OCC at the address above. The information is available for public viewing at the OCC Central District Office during regular business hours.
