NOTICE on February 4, 2020, the Applicant, David Neely, dba, Jet America (Jet America), filed an application for a certificate of convenience and necessity to operate as a common carrier by motor vehicle in the transportation of passengers by limousine in Pocahontas, Randolph, Greenbrier, Monroe, Summers, Raleigh, Mercer, Fayette and Nicholas Counties. According to the application, the Applicant proposes to charge local (City of Lewisburg) – $70.00 per hour and outside 40-mile radius of the City of Lewisburg – $95.00 per hour. On May 4, 2020, Staff recommend Jet America to make proper publication of the application in each of the following counties: Pocahontas, Randolph, Greenbrier, Monroe, Summers, Raleigh, Mercer, Fayette and Nicholas. Anyone desiring to protest or intervene should file a written protest or notice of intervention within ten days following the date of this publication unless otherwise modified by Commission order. If no protests are received, the Commission may waive formal hearing and render its decision on the application based on the evidence submitted with the application and the Commission’s review thereof. Requests to intervene must comply with the Commission’s rules on intervention set forth in the Commission’s Rules of Practice and Procedure.
