LM3, LLC, a limited liability company, Martinsburg, Berkeley Company.

Application for a certificate to operate as a common carrier providing limousine service in Berkeley and Jefferson Counties, West Virginia.

NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO OPERATE AS A COMMON CARRIER

On June 13, 2016, LM3, LLC, filed an application with the Public Service Commission of West Virginia for a certificate of convenience and necessity to provide limousine service. The proposed certificate and rates are as follows:

to operate as a common carrier by motor vehicle in the transportation of passengers in limousine service between points and places in Jefferson and Berkeley Counties, subject to the following exclusions: (a) excluding the transportation of passengers of railroad companies for railroad-work-related purposes, and excluding the transportation of persons whose transportation is to be paid for, billed to, or reimbursed by Medicaid or Medicare.

Rates: $70 an hour, minimum of 2 hours

Anyone desiring to protest or intervene must do so, in writing, within ten days after the date of publication of this notice. Failure to timely protest or request to intervene can affect your right to protest this application. All protests or requests to intervene should briefly state the protest or request to intervene.  Requests to intervene must comply with the rules on intervention set forth in the Commission’s Rules of Practice and Procedure. All protests and requests to intervene should be addressed to Ingrid Ferrell, executive Secretary, Public Service Commission of West Virginia, P.O. Box 812, Charleston, WV 25323.

To help the Commission determine the justification for additional review and investigation, protests must be specific as to the reasons that the application should not be approved. In addition, anyone desiring a hearing in this matter must demand a hearing in the letter of protest or request to intervene. If no substantial protest is received, the Commission may approve the application without a hearing.
