NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO CHANGE RATES

TAYLORáS DISPOSAL, INC.

CASE NO. l4-1940-MC-19A

 

On November 25, 2014, Taylorás Disposal, Inc., a common carrier providing solid waste collection and transportation services in Wood County, West Virginia, filed an application with the West Virginia Public Service. Commission, under Rule 19-A of the Commissionás Motor Carrier Tariff Rules, seeking to increase its rates and charges for providing solid waste collection and transportation services under P.S.C. M.C. Certificate No. F-5558. Under said authority, Taylorás Disposal, Inc, is authorized to transport solid waste from Wood County, West Virginia, to places of disposal.

The Staff of the Public Service Commission has reviewed that application and has recommended an overall increase in revenues of 4.94{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}. The present and Staff-recommended rates and charges are as follows for P.S.C. M.C. Certificate No. F-5558:

Any person affected by the Staff-recommended changes in the rates and charges has the right to protest or to be heard as to why the changes should not be allowed, either wholly or in part. Anyone desiring to protest the Staff-recommended increased rates and charges must do so in writing, within ten (10) days after the publication of this notice, All protests should be addressed to the Executive Secretary, Public Service Commission of West Virginia, P.O. Box 812, Charleston, West Virginia 25323.

To help the Commission determine the justification for additional review and investigation, protests must be specific as to the reasons that the changed rates and charges should not be approved. in addition, anyone desiring a hearing in this matter must demand a hearing in the letter of protest. If substantial protest is not received, the Commission may approve the Staff-recommended rates without a hearing,
