Notice of Bank Merger / Application
Notice is hereby given that MVB Bank, Inc. (MVB Bank), located at 301 Virginia
Avenue, Fairmont, WV 26554, has made application to the Federal Deposit Insurance
Corporation (FDIC) for its written consent to acquire substantially all of the assets and
assume the deposit liabilities and certain other liabilities of two branches of Susquehanna
Bank located at 704 Foxcroft Avenue, Martinsburg, (Berkeley County) WV 25401 and
5091 Gerrardstown Road, Inwood, (Berkeley County) WV 25428. These two offices of
Susquehanna Bank will be operated, business as usual, by MVB Bank following the
acquisition. MVB Bank is a wholly-owned subsidiary of MVB Financial Corp., a
financial holding company located at 301 Virginia Avenue, Fairmont, WV 26554.
Susquehanna Bank is located at 9 East Main Street, Lititz, PA 17543 and is a wholly-
owned subsidiary of Susquehanna Bancshares, Inc., a bank holding company also located
at 9 East Main Street, Lititz, PA 17543.
This notice is published pursuant to Section 18(c) of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
Any person wishing to comment on this application may file his or her comments in
writing with the Regional Director of the FDIC at its Regional Office located at 10 Tenth
Street, NE, Suite 800, Atlanta, GA 30309-3906 not later than
(30 days after the first publication of the notice). The non-confidential portions of the
application are on file at the appropriate FDIC office and are available for public
inspection during regular business hours. Photocopies of the non-confidential portions of
the application file will be made available upon request.
This notice also is published pursuant to Section 106-12-5 of the West Virginia Code of
State Rules. MVB Bank has filed an application with the West Virginia Division of
Financial Institutions in accordance with ยง31A-8D-3 of the West Virginia State Code.
The public is also invited to submit written comments regarding this application to the
West Virginia Board of Banking and Financial Institutions. Written comments can be
mailed to Commissioner, West Virginia Division of Financial Institutions, 900
Pennsylvania Avenue, Suite 306, Charleston, WV 25302.
