NOTICE OF CALL FOR BIDS The Fayette County Board of Education, 111 Fayette Avenue, Fayetteville, WV will accept sealed bids until 4:00 p.m. on Monday, May 23, 2016, on the removal of all scrap. The bidder must load and pick up all scrap metal within one week from the Fayette County Board of Education bus garage when notified by the Fayette County Transportation Department. The bidder will charge nothing for loading, picking-up or delivery of scrap to the recycler. The bidder should bid a specified fee based on a dollar amount per 100 lbs of scrap. The fee is paid to the Fayette County Board of Education. The bidder will make arrangements for pre-weight of the transporting vehicle and then the bidder will pay on the loaded weight of the vehicle. Fayette County BOE reserves the right to inspect the pre-weight and loaded weight of the vehicle. The contract will be for fiscal year 2016 – 2017. All bids must be sealed and will be competitive. Bids will be opened at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 24th, 2016. The board reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids presented.
