CONVEYANCE
OF UNITED METHODIST CHURCH PROPERTY
(RYMER UNITED METHODIST CHURCH)
Notice is hereby given that Board of Trustees of the West Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church will, on or after November 27th, 2025 QUITCLAIM, GRANT and CONVEY to Rymer Community Church, Inc., all of their right, title and interest in and to the following described lots or parcels of real estate, lying in Mannington District, Marion County, West Virginia, and bounded and described as follows, to-wit:
PARCEL ONE
BEGINNING at a Stone in the Pike and corner to School house lot, and with it N. 25° E. 10 1/2 poles to a Stone, S. 69 E. 9 poles to a Stone, S. 26W. 12 poles to a Stone in the Pike and with the Pike N. 65W. 8 poles to the beginning, containing about one hundred square poles.
PARCEL TWO:
BEGINNING at a stake at the pike and in a line now or formerly owned by John Conaway and with his line, N. 25 E. 8 poles to a small White Oak; thence S. 65 E. 6 poles to a stake; thence S. 25 W. 8 poles to the pike and with it N. 65 W. 6 poles to the beginning, containing 48 square poles.
PARCEL THREE:
BEGINNING at a point which is located N. 65° 54' 03" E. 9.75 feet from the center of a land known as Garden Lane, also being the southwestern most corner of the Walter W. Snodgrass property; thence from the point of beginning, N. 17° 24' 24" E. 93.43 feet to a point; thence S. 78° 17' 02" E. 75.88 feet to a point; thence S. 06° 53' 20" W. 100.08 feet to a point in the Emory Church Property line; thence with said Church line; S. 25° 00' 00" W. 7.98 feet to a point; thence N. 69° 17' 29" W. 92.88 feet to the point of beginning, and containing 0.20 acres, more or less, and being the same tract or parcel designated as Parcel No. 5 upon "Plat of Property Conveyed by Snodgrass to Starkey," and recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Marion County, West Virginia, in Deed Book 929, at Page 411.
PARCEL FOUR:
BEGINNING at a point being the southeastern most corner of said Second Parcel herein and in the line of the Emory Church Property; thence with the line of the Emory Church Property, S. 25° 00' 00" W. to the northeasterly corner of the First Parcel herein, thence with the northernmost line of said First Parcel in a northwesterly direction to a point in the eastern most line of a roadway known as Garden Lane; thence with the eastern line of said Lane in a northerly direction to a point in said Second Parcel; thence with the southernmost line of the said Second Parcel S. 69° 17' 29" E. 92.88 feet to the point of beginning.
And being the same property conveyed to RYMER UNITED METHODIST CHURCH from CNX LAND LLC, A DELAWARE LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY by Deed dated April 24, 2023 and recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Marion County, West Virginia in Deed Book 1322, at page 648-663, reference to which is hereby made.
Said Rymer United Methodist Church was closed effective May 21, 2025 by resolution of a majority of the District Superintendents of the West Virginia Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church.
