Notice of Public Comment Period West Virginia
The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region III, is hereby giving notice of and scheduling a thirty (30) day public comment period on West Virginia’s proposed authorization revisions of its hazardous waste management program in accordance with Title 40 of the United States Code of Federal Regulations, Section 271.21(b)(4).
West Virginia has applied for final authorization for revisions to its hazardous waste program under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). EPA reviewed West Virginia’s application and has made a determination, subject to public review and comment, that these revisions satisfy all of the requirements necessary to qualify for Final Authorization. A full list of the revisions is provided in the Federal Register and West Virginia’s complete authorization application can be viewed at www.regulations.gov under Docket ID No. EPA-R03-RCRA-2024- 0046.
Interested parties are encouraged to submit comments electronically, identified by Docket ID No. EPA-R03-RCRA- 2024-0046, within 30 calendar days of this notice, through the Federal eRulemaking Portal at www.regulations.gov or by email to ortizcarrero.priscilla @epa.gov.
