NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING MAY 19, 2016 7:00 P.M. at Sophia Town Hall Purpose of meeting to gain public input on ordinance adoption of the West Virginia State Building Code, and the International property maintenance code 2012 edition and as soon as available 2015 edition 1. As published by the International Code Council pursuant to West Virginia Code c 8-11-1, c8A-1-1, c8A-7-2(A) (5) and c29-3-5(B). The effective date “date of the adoption of the West Virginia State Building code in its entirety, including the International property maintenance code.” At such time as the State Fire Commissioner approves the adoption of the West Virginia State Building Code, and the International Maintenance Code by the Town of Sophia. And take effect and be in full force ten (10) days from and after the date of its final passage, adoptional and approval by the West Virginia State Fire Commission.
