NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Charles Town City Hall Council Chambers, 101 E. Washington Street, Charles Town, WV by the City of Charles Town Board of Zoning Appeals on the following matter:
Docket # BA 2016-0010: Variance The applicant, John and Jean King, have requested a variance from the bulk and area requirements of the Zoning Ordinance for a detached garage located at 518 S. Samuel Street. The property is zoned Old Town Residential. A reduction in the rear yard and side yard setback is requested. Rear yard setback requirement for this district is 20 feet and side yard requirement is 10 feet. The requested rear setback reduction for the garage is from 20 feet 3 feet and the side yard reduction is from 10 feet to 5 feet.
