Fort Boreman & Veterans Park Shelter Kits
The Wood County Commission will be accepting sealed bids for the purchase of one 16×24 picnic shelter kit and two 20×40 shelter kits. The kits will include hardware and frame. They will include heavy timber 6×6 post, have a double top cord, trusses will be exposed and the roof will be 2×6 Tongue and groove lumber. Metal will be purchased separately. Anchors for post to attach to existing concrete pad will be included in the package. Proposals must contain blueprints of shelters, anchor details, picture of completed shelters and detailed materials list.
All quotes must be turned in to the County Administrators Office (Room 203) via mail or hand delivered to No.1 Court Square, Suite 203, Parkersburg, WV 26101, on or before noon on September 20, 2019. All bids will be opened at the commission meeting on September 23, 2019

THE MUNICIPAL PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARKERSBURG WILL CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 18, 2019 at 12:30 P.M. B. Petition to release the utility easement held by the City of Parkersburg on a previously vacated alley (per City Council Ordinance #0-686), Tax Map 40, Parcel 235.

C. Petition to abandon an approximately 200’ portion of a 20’ alleyway, from the westerly lot line of Tax Map 37, Parcel 184, to the easterly lot line of Parcel 188.

D. Petition to abandon a 10’ undeveloped alleyway off of an unimproved section of Julianna Street, from the westerly lot line of Tax Map 69, Parcel 22, to the easterly lot line of the same parcel.

E. A discussion on potentially amending and reenacting municipal ordinance 1301 for the purpose of reducing the Municipal Planning Commission to eleven members.
