NOTICE OF RESCHEDULED
PUBLIC HEARING AND
VOTE ON PROPOSED ORDINANCE
RELATING TO SEWER RATES, FEES AND CHARGES
OF THE CITY OF VIENNA
A notice advising the public of the City of Vienna City Council’s January 8, 2015 introduction of an Ordinance proposing revisions to its current sewer tariff to include a security deposit provision and increasing its disconnect/ reconnect/administrative fee from $20.00 to $25.00 was published in the January 12 and 19, 2015 editions of The Parkersburg News and Sentinel. The notice advised that a public hearing and final vote on the Ordinance was to be held before City Council on January 22, 2015.
The public comment period on the Ordinance did not occur at the January 22, 2015 meeting and has been rescheduled to be held on February 26, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. at the City Council’s Chambers, City Building, 609 29th Street, Vienna, West Virginia. Interested parties may appear at the hearing and meeting and present protests, if any, with respect to the proposed Ordinance.
The final vote on adoption of said Ordinance will be held at the City Council meeting immediately following the public hearing on the Ordinance. A copy of the proposed ordinance is available for public inspection at the City Clerkás office located in the City Building.
