NOTICE TO ARCHITECTS / ENGINEERS Pursuant to West Virginia Code c5G-1-3, Statement of Qualifications and Performance Data, the New River Gorge Regional Development Authority (NRGRDA) is seeking expressions of interest from qualified architectural / engineering firms for professional architectural and engineering services for the design of a new 40,000 to 50,000 square foot shell building to be located at the Raleigh County Airport Industrial Park. Professional architectural and engineering services will include the following items: site development, building design, preparation of bidding and contract documents, participation in the solicitation and evaluation of bids, contract administration, and construction inspection. Interested firms are invited to submit their Statement of Qualifications, including performance data and any other pertinent information desired, to the NRGRDA, Attention: Chad Wykle, Executive Director, 116 North Heber Street, Suite B, Beckley, WV 25801, on or before Friday, November 13, 2015. Statements of Qualifications must detail each firm’s technical expertise, demonstrate experience with similar projects, and at a minimum include at least three references for projects completed within the past two years. Descriptions of relevant projects completed within the last 10 years must also be included, along with resumes of key project personnel. Six (6) copies are to be provided. A selection team will evaluate the Statements of Qualifications and will conduct interviews with at least three of the professional firms submitting these qualifications deemed to be the most highly qualified to provide the services required. Following interviews, firms will be ranked in order of preference with the highest ranked firm entering into contract negotiations with the NRGRDA. The NRGRDA reserves the right to reject any and all statements from interested firms and to make the award in any manner deemed by it, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of the NRGRDA and in accordance with West Virginia Code c5G-1-3. 10-19-MON-2-R L 3549
