ORDER OF PUBLICATION

 

To: Edward E. Reed, formerly of 23 Rosemar Terrace, Apt. 117, Vienna, WV 26105:

 

1) On August 25, 2017, William H. Morrison caused a Complaint to be filed in the above-styled civil action (the case is styled William H. Morrison v. Edward E. Reed, Wood County Circuit Court Civil Action No. 17-C-305) in which it was alleged that plaintiff, William H. Morrison, was and is making a claim for personal and bodily injury he believes he sustained as a result of a car collision which occurred on August 28, 2015, along Broad Street in the city of Parkersburg, Wood County, West Virginia.

 

2) In the civil action referred to in paragraph one, above, it was alleged that defendant, Edward E. Reed, while on driving a 2003 Ford F150 pickup truck along Broad Street in the city of Parkersburg, Wood County, West Virginia, defendant Reed negligently drove the pickup truck he was driving left of center and struck the mini-van that was being lawfully driven by plaintiff.  And, that as a direct and proximate cause of defendant Reedás negligent driving: plaintiff sustained injury to his person which caused him to experience freight, shock, anxiety, pain, suffering, aggravation, annoyance and inconvenience, which plaintiff reasonably believes will continue in the future; plaintiff received medical care and attention, thereby incurring reasonable and necessary medical expenses, and plaintiff reasonably expects to undergo additional medical care and attention and to incur additional reasonable and necessary medical expenses in the future; and that plaintiff has been unable to enjoy the pleasures of life and/or life’s customary pursuits and activities to the same extent that he could prior to August 28, 2015, and plaintiff reasonably expects to experience an additional loss of the ability to experience the pleasure life and/or life’s customary pursuits and activities in the future.

 

3) Plaintiff William H. Morrison is being represented in the above-styled Civil Action by attorney Patrick E. McFarland, 3011 Murdoch Avenue, Parkersburg, WV.

 

4) A copy of the Complaint filed in the above-referenced civil action may be obtained from the Wood County Circuit Clerk, Wood County Judicial Building, 2 Government Square, Parkersburg, WV.

 

5) That you must appear and defend this action on or prior to June 15, 2018, otherwise judgment by default will be rendered against you at anytime thereafter.
