ORDER OF PUBLICATION

 

The object of the above entitled action is for the Plaintiff to obtain a judgment to reimburse it for its costs in demolition of an unsafe structure upon real estate owned by Barbara Delancy aka Hinton located at 77 Coolridge Street, Parkersburg, WV 26104 with a legal description as follows:

 

In the District of Parkersburg, County of Wood, State of West Virginia, to wit:

Beginning 8 Feet southwesterly from the curb of Staunton Pike now State Route 47 at the north corner of the lot sold by Rosa M. Morrison and husband to Alice Morrison; thence with the line of said Alice Morrison lot (now Fred Drain) S. 65 ­ 1/2 W. 123 feet to a stake corner to Alice Morrison lot (now Fred Drain) in the line of the B. & O. right of way; thence with the B. & O. right of way, N. 26 degrees 11’ W. 70 feet to a stake; thence N. 63 degrees 40’ E. 123 ­ 1/2 feet to a stake; 8 feet from the curb of the Staunton Pike; thence along the Staunton Pike and 8 feet from the curb, S. 26 degrees 30’ E. 70 feet to the place of beginning.

 

It appearing by affidavit filed in this action that said Defendant Delancy; her whereabouts have not been ascertained using due diligence and twice the Sheriff has attempted to serve her with process and each time the process has been returned with her ânot found.ã

ORDERED that Defendant Delancy do appear and serve upon R. Vance Golden, III, Plaintiff’s attorney whose address is 543 Fifth Street, Parkersburg, WV 26101 an answer or other defense to the complaint filed in this action on or before the 15th day of June, 2015, otherwise judgment by default will be taken against the said Defendant Delancy at any time thereafter.

A copy of the complaint can be obtained from the Clerk at her office located at 2 Government Square, Room 133, Parkersburg, WV 26101 in said County and State.
