Hatcher Jr., Judge ORDER OF PUBLICATION To Whom It May Concern: The purpose of this action is to protect the infant respondents, I.D. and A.K. from abuse and neglect. The Petitioner, the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, is seeking legal and physical custody of said child respondents, I.D. and A.K.. Further, the Petitioner is seeking to locate the Respondent Mother, Briana Deems, of the infant respondents, I.D. and A.K.. Billy Deems Jr is the father of I.D. who was born on December 17, 2010. David Ward is the father of A.K. who was born on August 25, 2009. Counsel for the Petitioner, the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, is Jeffery T. Mauzy, Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, 108 East Maple Avenue, Fayetteville, West Virginia 25840. It appearing that the whereabouts of the Respondent Mother, Briana Deems, is presently unknown at this time, it is Ordered that the Respondent Mother, Briana Deems, obtain from the Fayette County Circuit Clerk at the Fayette County Courthouse, Fayetteville, West Virginia, the Petition filed in this matter. The Respondent Mother, Briana Deems, must appear and defend on or before Monday, June 22, 2015 at 11:45 a.m.in the Courtroom of the Honorable John W. Hatcher Jr., Fayette County Courthouse, Fayetteville, West Virginia, at which time a hearing will be held. Failure to answer and defend could result in a default judgment and loss of parental rights.
