NOTICE OF APPLICATION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Citizens Bank of West Virginia, Inc., Elkins, West Virginia, has made application to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation for permission to purchase the assets and assume the liabilities associated with the branches of Community Bank, located at 3 South Locust Street, Buckhannon, West Virginia 26201 and 425 3rd Street, New Martinsville, West Virginia 26155. It is contemplated that all offices of the above-named institutions will continue in operation except that Citizens Bank of West Virginia’s office at 77 West Main Street Buckhannon, WV 26201 will be consolidated into the former Community Bank office at 3 South Locust Street, Buckhannon, WV 26201.
Any person wishing to comment on this application may file his or her comments in writing with the Regional Director of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation at its Regional Office located at 10 Tenth Street, N.E., Suite 800, Atlanta, Georgia 30309-3849, no later than August 20, 2021. The period may be extended by the Regional Director for good cause. The non-confidential portions of the application are on file at the appropriate FDIC Office and are available for public inspection during regular business hours. Photocopies of the non-confidential portion of the application file will be made available upon request. A schedule of charges for such copies may be obtained from the Regional Office.
