A Public Hearing for the Board of Zoning Appeals is scheduled for Tuesday, September 7, 2021 in Weirton Room, Milsop Community Center, 4:30 P.M. The purpose of this regular meeting is to review the following applications:
Old Business
A. Phillip Kim is requesting a Conditional Use to operate a Bed and Breakfast at 3409 Orchard Street (Tax Map W42S, Parcel 0090, Zoned R-1 Single Family Residential).
B. SWN Production Company is requesting a Conditional Use for mineral extraction off of Park Drive (Tax Map 00W3, Parcel 0004, Zoned PDD Planned Development District).
New Business
C. Michael Chek is requesting a Conditional Use to build Multifamily Dwellings on Greenbrier Road (Tax Map W43G, Parcel 0024, Zoned R-2 Medium Density Residential).
D. Charles Schenich, 4139 Freedom Way, requests a variance to permit 3 ft rear setback in a C3 district. The City of Weirton Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) Table 2 Development requires rear setback of 15 ft. (Tax Map W2M, Parcel 0034, Zoned C3 Mixed commercial/ professional district ).
