NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER FOR SALE
MONONGAHELA NATIONAL FOREST

The Iron Bridge Run Stewardship Reoffer Sale is a stewardship contract located 13 miles North of Bartow WV, in Pocahontas County, in the headwaters of Iron Bridge Run. The Forest Service will receive technical and price proposals (no public meeting) by mail or courier service only at the Forest Supervisor’s Office at 2:00 PM local time on 10/14/2021. Mail proposals to: Forest Supervisor’s Office, 200 Sycamore Street, Elkins WV 26241, ATTN: Iron Bridge Run Stewardship Reoffer Sale. This sale has an estimated volume of 1,982 CCF of Black Cherry sawtimber, 691 CCF of Maple (RM, SM) sawtimber, 340 CCF of Hardwood – Other ( Bi, Bass, Cuc, Hem) sawtimber, and 1,258 CCF of Pulpwood marked or otherwise designated for cutting. Sale contains specified roads with an estimated public works construction cost of $156,308.98 Bidders qualifying as small business concerns under the Small Business Act may, when submitting a bid, elect for the Forest Service to build permanent roads. Also included in the contract is one (1) mandatory restorative service project to be completed by the Contractor. The contract will be awarded based on a Best Value Determination. One award will be made to the offeror (a) whose proposal is technically acceptable and (b) whose technical/price relationship is the most advantageous to the Government. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. A prospectus, solicitation form, and complete information concerning the timber, the restorative service project, and complete conditions of the contract are available to the public from the Forest Supervisor’s Office, or Greenbrier Ranger District.
