Notice is given that The Chemours Company FC, LLC has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a Modification Permit for a The C1 Polymer Production Process located on 8480 DuPont Road, Washington West Virginia near Parkersburg West Virginia located in Wood County, West Virginia. The latitude and longitude coordinates are: (39.270073, -81.674519)
The applicant estimates the increased potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants will be: Volatile Organic Compounds 0.191 tons/year, Total Suspended Particulate Matter 0.254 tons/year, Particulate Matter less than 10 micron diameter 0.221 tons/year, Particulate Matter less than 2.5 micron diameter 0.221 tons/year, Total Fluorides 0.028 tons/year, Ammonia 0.76 tons/year and Nitrous Oxide (NO2) 0.004 tons/year.
Startup of operation is planned to begin on or about the 20th day of January 2022. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice.
