Notice is hereby given by the City of Weirton that resumes for the position of Ward 2 Councilperson is being accepted. Resumes must be received in the office the City Manager, City of Weirton, 200 Municipal Plaza, Weirton, WV 26062, or via email to

by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 1, 2021. All interested individuals must be a Ward 2 resident and comply with the provisions stated in the Charter of the City of Weirton, West Virginia pertaining to being a member of council.
