Notice of Performance Testing
Notice is given that DuPont Specialty Products USA, LLC, has submitted and received approval from the WV Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) – Division of Air Quality for a site-specific Comprehensive Performance Testing (CPT) test plan and Continuous Monitoring Systems (CMS) performance evaluation test plan. These test plans are required by the federal Hazardous Waste Combustor Maximum Achievable Control Technology (MACT) Subpart EEE (40 CFR 63) regulation for DuPont’s CFB Boiler. The CFB Boiler is located at 8480 DuPont Road, Washington, WV 26181, in Wood County, West Virginia. The latitude and longitude coordinates are: 39.268257, -81.668679. These test plans will be accessible to the public for review and copying at the Parkersburg & Wood County Public Library – South Parkersburg Branch located at 1807 Blizzard Drive, Parkersburg, WV 26101 starting September 17, 2021 for sixty (60) days.
The CPT testing and CMS performance evaluation is expected to commence November 29, 2021 and is expected to be completed within two weeks from commencement of testing.
