GOVERNMENTAL FUNDS TO THE STATEMENT OF ACTIVITIES

Amounts reported for governmental activities in the statement of net position differ due to:

Net change in fund balances – total governmental funds 3,218,453$

Governmental funds report capital outlays as expenditures. However, in the
statement of net assets, the cost of those assets is allocated over their
estimated useful lives and reported as depreciation expense. The effect on
net assets is the amount by which capital outlays exceed depreciation in the
current period.
Depreciation expense (1,548,425)

Revenues in the Statement of Activities that do not provide current financial
resources are not reported as revenues in the funds, rather they are reported
as deferred inflows. (60,703)

the current financial resources of governmental funds. However, such repayment
has no effect on net position. 180,832

Differences in the cost and accumulated depreciation on disposed capital assets
are reported as a loss and reduction in net position in the statement of activities.
Cost of assets disposed (384,995)
Accumulated depreciation of assets disposed 384,995

Capital lease proceeds are reported as liabilities in the statement of net assets
instead of as financing transfers in the governmental activities. (1,133,000)

in the Statement of Activities, the cost of OPEB benefits earned net of employee
contributions is reported as OPEB expense
District OPEB contributions 93,896
