The Firemen’s Civil Service Commission of the City of Parkersburg will be testing applicants to establish a list of eligible candidates for the Parkersburg Fire Department for the position of probationary firefighter.
The entrance exam will be Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the cafeteria at Parkersburg High School, 2101 Dudley Avenue, Parkersburg WV 26101. (Cafeteria access is from the rear parking lot, adjacent to Stadium Drive.)
Applicants must be US citizens, be between the ages of 18 and 35 at the time of their application, and possess a valid driver’s license.
Applications can be obtained from the Fire Department on the first floor of the Municipal Building, 3rd Street entrance, at One Government Square, and must be returned before November 3, 2021. An application fee of $15.00 is required. Applications mailed in must be received by November 3, 2021.
