RE: 1320 MYRTLE ST., PARKERSBURG, WV

Notice is hereby given that the City of Parkersburg, in accordance with Article 1705.08 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Parkersburg, West Virginia, claims a lien to secure the payment of the sum of Seven Thousand One Hundred Ninetly Seven Dollars and 57/100 ( $7197.57), plus interest from date of lien, upon your interest in and to the herein described real property lying, situate and being in the City of Parkersburg, County of Wood, State of West Virginia, being more particularly bounded and described as follows:

BEING at a point in the northerly line of Laurel Street 4 feet East of the common line of Lots Nos. 8 and 9 of Virginia Wright Addition to the City of Parkersburg, West Virginia, as shown on a Plate of said Addition of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Wood County, West Virginia, in Plat Book No. 3, at page 137, thence in a northwesterly direction and paralle with the common lines of Lot Nos. 8,9, and 1o and said Virginia Wright Addition and 4 feet easterly therefrom 100 feet to a stake in the common lines of Lots Nos. 8 and 11 of said Virginia Wright Additionl thence N65 degrees, 50 minutes E and with the common lines of Lots Nos. 8 and 11 of said Virgnia Wright Addition and 4 feet easterly therefrom 100 feet to a stake in the northerly line of Laurel Street; thence with the northerly line of Laurl Street and in a westerly direction 50 feet to the place of beginning, geing par of lots Nos. 7 and 8 of said Virginia Wright Addition.

BEING the same lot conveyed to Tan N Tan, LLC by deed dated 8th day of August, 2013 from Easy Street, LLC and recorded in the aforesaid Clerk’s Office in Deed Book No. 1291, at page 858.

Such claim is made on the basis that the City of Parkersburg has caused to be demolished certain building(s) formerly located upon the above described real property.

The nature of the work performed upon the aforesaid buildings and upon the above described real property, pursuant to a contract for demolition awarded to JC BOSLEY CONSTRUCTION INC., under lawful bidding procedures, was the demolition by the aforesaid contractor on or around the 16th day of July, 2021. Said lien is claimed at the price and amount set forth hereinabove, plus interest from date of lien, as shown more fully in the invoice submitted by said contractor which is attached hereto as City Exhibit 1, and in the statement of various costs necessary and incidental, for such demolition which is attached hereto as City Exhibit 2, which may both be viewed by contacting the City of Parkersburg.
