Notice is given that Assured Cremation Services, LLC has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a construction permit for a human crematory located on 519 4th Street, Parkersburg, Wood County, West Virginia. The latitude and longitude coordinates are: 39.263171, -81.559657.
The applicant estimates the new unit to have a potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants:
– Sulfur Dioxide: 0.3554 (TPY)
– Nitrogen Oxide: 0.5831 (TPY)
– PM: 0.7649 (TPY)
– PM10: 0.7649 (TPY)
– Carbon Monoxide: 0.4832 (TPY)
– CO2e: 1586.39 (TPY) of CO2e
Startup of operation is planned to begin on or about the 1st day of February, 2022. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Written comments will also be received via email at [email protected].
