A Public Hearing for the Board of Zoning Appeals is scheduled for Tuesday, January 4, 2022 in City of Weirton Council Chambers, 4:30 P.M. The purpose of this regular meeting is to review the following applications:
New Business
a) Election of Officers
b) Jaclyn Enlow, 4075 Main Street, is requesting a variance from the City of Weirton Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) Article 18, Table 8 which limits one wall sign per store frontage in a general commercial district for a single occupant building. The proposed wall sign will be additional 45 square feet (Tax Map W2M, Parcel 70).
c) Lou Bernardi, Three Springs Drive, is requesting a variance from the City of Weirton Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) Article 18, Table 8 which states the maximum height of a monument sign is 10 feet. in a flex space district for a multi-occupant building. The proposed monument sign to be placed has a height of 14 feet. (Tax Map: W3 Parcel: 0008).
Applicants must appear in person; all interested parties may appear in person or be represented by agent or attorneys or submit comments in writing giving reasons for either granting or denying this petition.
