PUBLIC NOTICE

In accordance with W. Va. Code § 8A-7-9 et seq., and Ranson Code § 19A-1.3 et seq., the
Ranson Planning
Commission will hold a public hearing on
Monday, January 10th, 2022, at 7 pm at Ranson City Hall, 312 S. Mildred Street, Ranson, WV via Zoom. To access the web meeting link or to see the agenda, please visit http://ransonwv.iqm2.com/

The purpose of the public hearing is to accept public comments on a petition to rezone the following parcel(s) 19-08-0008-0003-0003, 19-08-0008-0003-0000 and 19-08-0008-0003-0002 to T4-General Neighborhood from TND-MUX Mixed-Use Center.
Upon recommendation and approval of the zoning map amendment by the Ranson Planning Commission, an ordinance amending the zoning map will be presented to the City Council for two
readings on February
1st and 15th.

Copies of the proposed zoning amendment are available upon request in the Community
Development Department. If you cannot attend but wish to comment, you may write and it must be received to the following address: City of Ranson, Attn: Community
Development Department, 312 S. Mildred Street, Ranson, WV 25438.
Written Comments
received prior to Friday January 7th, 2022, will be provided to the Planning Commission, and inserted into the official record.
