LEGAL NOTICE OF THE FILING OF A PETITION FOR
GUARDIANSHIP AND A FINAL HEARING CONCERNING
THE SAME
The object of this suit is to seek an Order from the Family Court of Hancock County, West Virginia appointing Roger Woodland and Genajo Woodland, his wife, as the legal guardians of Kaylin Marie Hout.
TO: Any and all parties who claim a right or interest in the above referenced matter.
A Petition for Guardianship has been filed in the Family Court of Hancock County, West Virginia, requesting that Roger Woodland and Genajo Woodland, his wife, be appointed the legal guardians of Kaylin Marie Hout, a minor. The Petition has been assigned case number 21-FIG-6. A final hearing in regard to the Petition has been scheduled before the Honorable Judge Chernenko, Judge of the Family Court of Hancock County, West Virginia on February 2, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. to be held in the Hancock County Family Court Complex, Room 204, New Cumberland Municipal Complex (former New Cumberland Elementary School), 104 Court Street in New Cumberland, WV 26047. Any party affected by the Petition or who wishes to object to the Petition should request that they be made a party to the matter and appear and defend their interests at the hearing scheduled above. You may do so by filing a Petition to intervene in this legal proceeding by filing the same in the Family Court of Hancock County, West Virginia. Your request to intervene must clearly state your identity, an address where legal process can be served upon you, and the basis for your interest in the matter. A copy of said Petition for Guardianship can be obtained from the Circuit Clerk of Hancock County, West Virginia.
If you fail to intervene or assert your rights in this regard, thereafter, an Order, upon proper hearing, may be entered by the Family Court declaring that Roger Woodland and Genajo Woodland are the legal guardians of Kaylin Marie Hout.
