MUNICIPAL
ELECTION
The City of Ranson will hold a Municipal Election on June 7, 2022, electing four (4) members of the City Council: two “At-Large” council members; a “First Ward Council Member;” and a “Second Ward Council Member” for the full term of four (4) years each; Those individuals elected will take the oath of office on July 1, 2022.
Those persons interested in running for any of these offices must be eligible to vote in Ranson and may file their Certificate of
Announcement, filing fee of $25.00 and Campaign Finance Forms at Ranson City Hall beginning
Monday, January 10, 2022, during the hours of 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
The filing period closes Saturday, January 29, 2022. Certificates of
Announcement submitted via US mail must be
postmarked no later than midnight on January 29, 2022. Appropriate forms may be picked up at City Hall or downloaded from the City’s website at www.cityofransonwv.net.
