NOTICE OF A VIRTUAL PUBLIC MEETING ON THE
PROPOSED PARTIAL ABANDONMENT OF
585.3 FEET (0.11 MILE) OF OLD WEST VIRGINIA 5 RIGHT-OF-WAY
LOCATED IN RANDOLPH COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA
A virtual public meeting shall be held on February 24, 2022, between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. regarding the proposed partial abandonment of old West Virginia 5 right-of-way, beginning at a point in the northern existing right-of-way line of US 33, said point being 0.11 mile southeast of the eastern junction of US 33 and CR 33/6; thence 585.3 feet along the old alignment of Old WV 5 and ending.
The February 24, 2022, public meeting will provide citizens the opportunity to ask questions, gain information, and comment upon the proposed partial abandonment in Randolph County, West Virginia. West Virginia Division of Highways, District 8, requested the abandonment on behalf of an adjacent property owner, Jonathan Magee.
