The West Virginia Real Estate Division, for and on behalf of the West Virginia Department of Health & Human Resources, is offering for sale in “AS IS and WHERE IS” condition, by competitive written bidding process, certain vacant land located along Coberly Lane, in Elkins, Randolph County, West Virginia. The sale includes the fee simple interest of the vacant land listed as Parcel 42-10-0126-0016-0000 containing 6.05 acres M/L and Parcel 42-10-0126-0016-0001 containing 2.35 acres M/L together containing 8.40 acres, M/L. The flood map identification is 54083C0145C. This sale offering is for both Parcels combined, individual parcel bids will not be considered.

All written sealed bid offerings must be in a monetary sum and received by the West Virginia Real Estate Division by 2:00 p.m. eastern time on or before Friday, February 25, 2022, hand delivered or mailed to the address below: At that time, a public opening of all bids will occur at the Real Estate Division. Thereafter, all bid proposals will be reviewed and evaluated to determine if they are reasonably within the appraised value. The Real Estate Division reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The successful bidder will be notified of their bid acceptance as soon as reasonably possible.

The following should be written in the lower left corner of the envelope:
“CRYSTAL SPRINGS PROPERTY BID”

The successful bidder will be notified and requested to submit a non-refundable down payment of 5% of the bid amount by cashier’s check within 5 days of the notification. Upon receipt of the down payment, a Special Warranty deed will be prepared and a closing will be scheduled with the buyer. The remaining 95% of the purchase price as bid will be delivered by cashier’s check at the close.
