AIR QUALITY PERMIT NOTICE
Notice of Application
Notice is given that Hanson Aggregates Pennsylvania LLC has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a General Permit G40-C for their Dry Run Quarry for the construction of a sand and gravel processing plant. The facility is located in Arroyo off of West Virginia State Route 2 onto County Route 66/6 in Hancock County, West Virginia. The latitude and longitude coordinates are: 40.57132 and -80.65685.
The applicant estimates the facility will have the potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants to be: PM of 60.17 tons per year (tpy) of which 49.06 tpy are fugitive and PM10 of 19.07 tpy of which 14.15 tpy are fugitive, and PM2.5 of 4.30 tpy of which 3.50 tpy are fugitive.
The facility will begin operation around March 31, 2022. Written comments will be received by the
