Wood County Schools will be accepting bids for the following project: Williamstown High School Bleacher Replacement. The project generally includes the demolition and removal of the existing bleacher system, adjacent block building, and associated fencing. The project scope also generally includes the construction of a new concrete foundation system for the bleachers, site concrete retaining walls, storm drainage improvements, site grading, electrical service distribution, and other work associated with the project. The bleachers and associated press box have previously been purchased by Wood County Schools and will be installed by the manufacturer after the concrete foundations have been constructed. Electronic bid documents will be available on February 7, 2022, at www.pickeringplanroom.com at no cost. A Prebid meeting will be held February 14, 2022, at 10:00 am at the construction site. Bids will be due at 2:00 p.m. on February 24, 2022, at the Wood County Schools Board of Education offices at 1210 13th Street, Parkersburg WV 26101. A public bid opening will be held at 2:00 pm on February 24, 2022, at the Wood County Schools Board of Education offices at 1210 13th Street, Parkersburg, WV 26101.
