NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the Wood County Civil Service Commission will conduct an Entrance test for Deputy Sheriff on Saturday, March 26, 2022.
Physical Agility will begin at 9:00AM at Erickson Field and written test at 1:00PM at Parkersburg South High School computer lab.
Applications will be accepted through March 17, 2022.
WV State age requirement is 18-45 years. (§7-14-8)
Physical Agility requirements are as follows:
1. 1.5 mile run to be completed in less than 14 minutes and 36 seconds
2. 28 sit-ups in 1 minute
3. 18 push-ups in 1 minute
