Request for Qualifications
The City of Vienna requests statements of qualifications from architectural and engineering firms and pool design firms to provide planning and professional design services, competitive bidding, and Construction Administration services for renovations to the Jackson Park Pool Facility. Renovations and improvements are expected to include improved amenities to the pool house, new pool infrastructure, and general improvements and enhancements to the main pool and other areas as developed by the consultant and owner’s design committee. The services to be provided may include planning; evaluation of alternatives; preliminary design; detailed design; preparation of construction plans, specifications, and bidding documents; assistance during bidding phase; construction phase services; and resident project representation services.
Procurement of said services will be in accordance with West Virginia Code Chapter 5G-1-3 and all other relevant WV statutes, rules, and regulations as well as any relevant City of Vienna ordinances, rules, or regulations. Qualified firms are encouraged to submit their qualifications highlighting their experience in pool design with emphasis on construction administration and pool start-up. Interested firms or individuals must hold a valid “Certificate of Authorization” to practice engineering in the State of West Virginia.

Qualifications should include the following: Company Background in Pool Design, Proposed Project Team and Subconsultants, Relevant and Recent Project Experience of Pool Renovations and Expansions, Project Approach with Timeline, and References. Please provide eight (8) bound copies for review.
Qualifications should be received on or before Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 4:00pm.
