Roof Leak Repair Project
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID
The Ritchie County Board of Education will receive separate sealed bids on a general contract to address a roof leak adjacent to a roof top HVAC unit at the Ritchie County High School/Middle School in Ellenboro, West Virginia.
The project consists of:
Description of Work to be Performed:
* Remove the existing exterior ductwork from one (1)
RTU.
* Fabricate and install exterior ductwork to match the existing layout.
* Ductwork designed to have 2″ w.g.
* Fabricate and install two (2) new curb covers.
* Reuse existing controls, sensors, and stands.
* Provide exterior ductwork insulation and lagging to ensure watertightness.
* Provide crane to perform work.
* Remove and dispose of all debris generated by the work.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at Ritchie County Middle/High School, 201 Ritchie County School Road, Ellenboro, WV 26346 at 11:00 am on Monday, July 25, 2022. Attendance is mandatory for prime bidders only.
Bids will be received in the offices of the Ritchie County Board of Education, 134 South Penn Avenue, Harrisville, WV 26362, until 11:00 am, local time on August 4, 2022. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at that time.
The bidder to whom the contract is awarded shall execute and deliver to the owner within 7 days after the award, and before signing the contract, a corporate surety bond in a sum equal to at least the contract sum, and the cost of such bond shall be paid by the bidder.
The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, the right to waive minor informalities and procedures in bidding, and the right to withhold final award of contract for 60 days after opening bids.
Required Documentation with Bid:
* West Virginia Contractor’s License and Business License/Registration
* Certificate of Liability Insurance
* State of West Virginia Drug Free Workplace Conformance Affidavit (WV Code §21-1D-5)
Additional Requirements for the Successful Bidder:
* Performance and payment bond must be provided.
* Completion of the Attached Mandatory West Virginia Department of Education Agreement Addendum.
* Completion of the attached affidavit no debt greater than one thousand dollars in the aggregate or the debtor is in employer default.
* Completion of the attached W-9 Document.
