LEGAL NOTICE
The City of Williamstown will be accepting bids to blacktop. Contractor will furnish all materials, equipment and labor.
MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS:
Material used will be WVDOH BII asphalt base course and WVDOH WCI asphalt wearing course.
WARRANTY:
The bidder must indicate any/all warranty’s offered on this material.
EXCEPTIONS:
Any exceptions must be clearly noted on attached sheets. Failure to do so will be reason for rejection of the bid. It is not our intention to prohibit any potential bidder from bidding by the virtue of the specification, but to describe the work actually required. We shall be the sole judge of granting exceptions.
Please list a price for each individual street listed. The City of Williamstown reserves the right to choose which streets may or may not be blacktopped according to bid price.
Mark outside of envelope “Blacktop Bid 2022”. Mail or deliver to City of Williamstown, 100 W. 5th Street, Williamstown, WV, between the hours of 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Bids must be turned in by 4:00pm, September 20, 2022. No decision on the results of the bids will be made until City Officials have reviewed all bids. All bids will be opened at the Williamstown City Council meeting on September 20, 2022, starting at 7:00pm.
