AIR QUALITY PERMIT NOTICE
Notice of Application
Notice is given that The Chemours Company FC, LLC has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a Class II Administrative Update for The C1 Polymer Production Process located on 8480 DuPont Road, Washington, West Virginia near Parkersburg, West Virginia located in Wood County, West Virginia. The latitude and longitude coordinates are: (39.2700073, -81.674519).
The applicant estimates the increased potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants will be: Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) 1.62 tons/year, Total Hydrocarbon 0.93 tons/year, Total Suspended Particulate (TSP) 2.33 tons/year, Particulate Matter less than 10 micron diameter 2.22 ton/year, Particulate Matter less than 2.5 micron diameter 2.33 tons/year, Hydrogen Fluoride 1.64 tons/year, and Nitric Acid 0.02 tons/year, Carbon Dioxide 1.80 tons/year
Startup of operation is planned to begin on or about the 1st day of July 2023. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice.
