CLASS II LEGAL AD

The Calhoun County Commission will be accepting bids for a Courthouse Improvement project at the Calhoun County Courthouse located in Grantsville, West Virginia.

Bids will be accepted until 9:00 a.m. Monday, March 13, 2023 at the Calhoun County Courthouse in the County Clerk’s office.

The scope of the work will consist of:
Bracing of the stone side walls of the exterior porch
structure.
Removal of the damaged concreate steps on both sides of the porch structure. Site preparation. Building forms in preparation for pouring concrete.
Rebar placement and tie-ins. Pouring and finishing new concrete stairs. Sealing seams between new stairs and the side of the courthouse and between the new stairs and the stone
side walls of the porch structure to prevent water infiltration.
Removal of all sections of damaged sidewalk on the interior walkways and the removal of concrete on the handicapped ramp. Building sidewalk forms and forms for the new
handicapped ramp. Rebar placement and tie-ins. Pouring and finishing new concrete sidewalks and
handicapped ramp.
There are no architectural plans or drawings. This is a design/build project doing exact replacement of existing structures.
