NOTICE OF JUDICIAL SALE OF REALTY
Pursuant to an Order of the Court, the Special Commissioner shall sell the following property at the front door of the Wood County Courthouse on
March 1, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.
All of that certain lot, tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the District of Walker, County of Wood and State of West Virginia, more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at a limestone rock in the easterly line of G.W. Layman, at the northwesterly corner of a tract of land containing 109 square rods conveyed by Thomas Varner and wife to M. Wesley Varner, and running thence with Layman’s line N. 39 W. 45 poles to a post in a line of Clyde Varner, thence with his line and a line of Thomas Johnson N. 89 E. 31 poles to a monument, a corner of the 10 acre tract of which this is a part; thence with said Johnson’s line S. 40 E. 42 poles to a stake at the lower or south edge of the road; thence S. 62 W. 12 3/4 poles to the southeast corner of the 109 square rod tract; thence with two lines of the same N. 37 W. 8 3/5 poles to a post; thence S. 67 W. 14 poles to the place of beginning, containing 7 1/2 acres, more or less.

Terms of sale are cash in hand on day of sale or within 30 days upon terms acceptable to the Special Commissioner. The property is conveyed in as in condition with no covenants of warranty, subject to unpaid property taxes. Purchaser shall pay all costs of recording the deed. A 10% non-refundable deposit may be required to be paid on the day of sale.
