ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The Wirt County Board of Education will be accepting sealed bids for the upcoming Wirt County Schools Phone and Communication System Upgrade. A mandatory pre-bid conference and project visit relating to the Proposed Wirt County Schools Phone and Communication System Upgrade will be held at the Wirt County Board of Education, located at 389 Mulberry Street, Elizabeth, WV 26143. The mandatory pre-bid conference will take place on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at 10:00. The current phone system is an AVAYA 500, so the upgrade must be AVAYA or a compatible system with existing phones and servers. The parameters of the upgrade will be shared during the pre-bid/project visit on February 14th. The upgrade will include software, hardware, and installation upgrades at the following facilities (Wirt County Primary Center, Middle School, High School, Board of Education Office, and Wellness Center):
A sealed bid must be hand-delivered to Wirt County Board of Education, 389 Mulberry Street, Elizabeth, WV 26143, or mailed to Wirt County Board of Education, PO Box 189, Elizabeth, West Virginia by 10:00 AM, Wednesday, February 22, 2023. The required completion date for the project is Monday, April 17. 2023. This deadline is applicable if the required materials are available. Bids must be labeled “Wirt County Schools Phone and Communication System Upgrade Project”. The Wirt County Board of Education reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids.

The submitted sealed bid must include the following:
1. Provide copy of liability insurance
2. Provide copy of WV Worker’s Compensation coverage
3. Business License
4. Drug-Free Workplace Affidavit
5. Complete W-9
6. Complete No Debt Affidavit
7. If bid is over $25,000 (bond will be required)
