The City of Parkesburg/ Wood County HOME Consortium’s HOME-ARP Allocation Plan is available for public review. The Allocation Plan outlines the programs and goals of the HOME-American Rescue Plan.
The Allocation Plan is available for public review in the Development Department on the fifth floor of the Municipal Building, One Government Square, Parkersburg, WV. The Allocation Plan will also be available to view on the City of Parkersburg website under the ‘reports’ section of the Planning and Development page beginning March 2, 2023.
The Consortium will accept comments on the Allocation Plan for a period of sixteen (16) days from the original publication of this notice. The Allocation Plan will appear on the agenda of the City Council March 14, 2023 at 6:30pm and the Wood County Commission agenda March 16, 2023 at 10:30am.
HUD requires consultation with service providers and a public hearing prior to approval of any HOME-ARP Allocation Plan. The Allocation Plan, as well as any appropriate comments, will be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for their review.
The public is invited to review and comment on the draft Allocation Plan for a 16-day period. This comment period is planned in accordance with the City’s Citizen Participation Plan. After all public comments have been considered, the Allocation Plan will be submitted to HUD on or before March 31, 2023.
