NOTICE
TOWN OF BEVERLY
Notice is hereby given that the Town of Beverly, a municipal corporation, will hold a hearing before the final vote on a proposed ordinance that has been previously introduced and read, to amend its previously enacted ordnance increasing sewer rates for customers of the sewer system operated by the Town of Beverly, to change the effective date of the sewer rate increase. The title of such ordinance is:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
BEVERLY, WEST VIRGINIA, AMENDING ITS EXISTING ORDINANCE RELATED TO RATES CHARGED IN PROVIDING MUNICIPAL SEWER SERVICES TO ALL GENERAL DOMESTIC, COMMERCIAL, AND
INDUSTRIAL SERVICE EXCEPT UNUSUAL INDUSTRIAL WASTE IN THE TOWN OF BEVERLY’S MUNICIPAL SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT AND COLLECTION SYSTEM TO AMEND THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THE RATE INCREASE
A Schedule of proposed new rates, fees and/or charges are as follows:
Metered $10.96
Each 1,000 Gallons
Flat Rate $43.19
Non-Metered
Minimum Charge $32.88
At 3,000
Gallons
The final vote on adoption of said proposed ordinance shall be held in the Council Chambers of the Town of Beverly, Town Hall, 5 Walnut Avenue, Beverly, WV 26253, West Virginia on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. Interested parties may appear and be heard at such time with respect to the passage of the proposed ordinance. Copies of the proposed ordinance are available at the Office of the Clerk, Town Hall, in Town of Beverly.
