You are hereby notified that your parental rights to J.D.C. (DOB: 10/16/2015 may be terminated in this adoption proceeding, unless you appear and defend any such rights within 30 days of first publication of this Notice, by filing a Response with the Circuit Clerk of Wood County, West Virginia and by serving said Response upon counsel for Petitioner, Thomas B. Karr, Esq., Legal Aid of West Virginia, 327 Ninth St., Parkersburg, WV 26101. A copy of the Petition can be obtained from the Wood County Circuit Clerk’s Office in the Wood County Judicial Building.
You are further notified that a final hearing will be held on May 8, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. before the Hon. John D. Beane, Judge, of the Circuit Court of Wood County, West Virginia, at the Wood County Judicial Building, 2 Government Square, Room 421 Parkersburg, WV 26101.
If you fail to respond within 30 days’ time, you may not appear in or receive further notice of these proceedings.
Failure to respond or appear will result in termination of any parental rights you may have.
