NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Fuel Tank Removal and Replacement Bid
Sealed bids for the Fuel Tank Removal and Replacement at the Transportation Center of the Ohio County Board of Education will be received by the Ohio County Board of Education, 2203 National Road, Wheeling, WV 26003, no later than Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read. Bids should be mailed to that address to the attention of Mr. Rick Jones, Assistant Superintendent. Please mark the front of the envelope as “BID – Fuel Tank Replacement.”
MANDATORY: Contact the Ohio County Schools Operations Center before the end of business on Friday, May 5, 2023 for bid packets. Any bidder that does not request a bid packet before this time will not be considered. Please call 304-243-0431 or email

After the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids, no bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days. All bidders are required to furnish a satisfactory Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the bid price.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory 100% Performance Bond and a satisfactory 100% Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of the contract price.
ALL BIDS MUST COMPLY WITH OHIO COUNTY SCHOOLS LOCAL POLICIES.
The Ohio County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, award the contract to other than the low bidder, accept any or all alternates, waive irregularities and/or formalities, and in general to make the award in any manner deemed by it, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of Ohio County Schools.
