MONONGAHELA NATIONAL FOREST
The Lick Rock Sale is located within Compartments 64 and 65, Greenbrier County, 10 miles East of Richwood, WV, in the headwaters of the North Fork of Cherry River. The Forest Service will receive Sealed bids at Forest Supervisor’s Office, 200 Sycamore Street, Elkins, WV 26241 before or at the time of public bid opening at 2:00 PM local time on 06/06/2023 for an estimated volume of 994 CCF of Black Cherry sawtimber, 758 CCF of Maple (RM, SM) sawtimber, 343 CCF of Hardwood – Other (Mag, BB, Beech) sawtimber, 607 CCF of Red & Black Oak (SO) sawtimber, 1134 CCF of Yellow Poplar (Cuc, Bass) sawtimber, and 677 CCF of Combined Hardwood pulpwood marked or otherwise designated for cutting. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed below. A prospectus, bid form, and complete information concerning the timber, the conditions of sale, and submission of bids is available to the public from the Gauley Ranger District, 932 North Fork Cherry Hwy, Richwood, WV 26261, Forest Supervisor’s Office, or found on the Monongahela National Forest website at: https://www.fs.usda.gov/resources/mnf/landmanagement/
